Hump day shooting

Today is the first day that I have had fun shooting pictures since yesterday. Ahhh, shooting pictures for money how much better can life be. A little minor league baseball, a little dancing. Sounds like my kind of life.

Dementia

Julio Caudrado suffers from dementia. He just wonders around his Saginaw home or stares off into space most of the time. One that the he still holds on to from his youth is his love of dancing. I wish that his dancing translated better to the still image but it doesn't. His wife Aida Cuadrado has been taking care of him for a while. Recently his daughter Ana Cuardrado quit her job and moved back to Saginaw to stay with them and help out. Julio and Aida came to Saginaw in during the auto boom so Julio could find work and they started their family there. They moved back to Puerto Rico for a while for the warmer climate. Then decided to come back to Saginaw because their children and grand-children still lived in around Michigan.

A couple from today

I feel like I have been in a little bit of a slump here in the last week. I think I am starting to come out of it.

The evil flower of doom

I don't usually like flower pictures too much but this one just looks sinister. I like.

ups and downs

Today has been an emotional roller coaster. On the up side of things I saw my first blood nephew for the first time. I have step nieces and nephews and I love them to death but this just seems a little different. His Name is Caiden and he is a month old. He was born after I moved to Saginaw. On the down side of things my Step-father's funeral was today. I shot the second picture on my mothers point and shoot the last time I saw him when they helped me move to Saginaw. He was a great guy. He was really good to us. Ruby Anderson you are missed.
